Living With Muscular Dystrophy (MD)

No matter what age or gender of an individual suffering from the effects of muscular dystrophy, the ongoing degradation of the ability to perform “everyday” functions, such as sitting upright, walking, breathing with ease, and the moving of arms and hands, can be very psychologically damaging. At MGT, our goal is to enable adults and children who are living with muscular dystrophy to live actively and independently. Our flagship product, IKAN Bowler® is designed to do just that. With the ability to be mounted to virtually any power wheelchair, this product gives those who have neuromuscular conditions a fun activity to fulfill their competitive spirit. These activities offer an array of therapeutic, social, and recreational benefits.

Currently, there is no cure for MD . Until there is, MGT will continue to develop innovative products to enhance the lives of those who are living with this debilitating disease.
